File Types

The File Types tab in the Download Settings dialog provides the following settings:

Download All File Types

Choose this setting to have SiteSucker download all files regardless of file type.

Only Download These File Types

Choose this setting if you want SiteSucker to only download certain types of files. You can choose from the following options (representative file extensions are shown in parentheses):

  • Archives (zip, sit, tar, gz, ...)
  • Audio (aiff, wav, snd, au, ...)
  • Images (jpg, gif, tiff, png, ...)
  • Movies (mov, mpg, avi, wmv, ...)
  • Files With Extensions - Enter file extensions separated by spaces or commas

Note: SiteSucker always downloads HTML and CSS files regardless of this setting.

Never Download These File Types

Choose this setting if you want to specify types of files that SiteSucker should never download. You can choose from the same options shown above.

Note: SiteSucker always downloads HTML and CSS files regardless of this setting.

Treat as HTML

Use this setting to specify types of files that SiteSucker should treat as HTML. Enter file extensions separated by spaces or commas. When SiteSucker downloads one of these files it adds an "html" extension to its name and scans it for links.
